Such a tale of woe boys
Or the island they named after her

Driven aground past Cape Horn
Only a handful returned of those on board

They grabbed a little food and a boat from the Wager
So little to show boys

Trapped on a beach of rock and stone
And winter approaching to feed on dead men’s souls

Every sailor castaway
Hoped to never see the day

They gambled on the Wager

Captain Cheap turned the crew when he killed a man

Mutiny reared her ugly head
Cheap was abandoned on shore and left for dead
